The Register-Guard has a new downtown home above the Swoosh

The Register-Guard has a new downtown office site, above the Swoosh at the Eugene Nike store at 590 Pearl St.

According to a recent Facebook post by Director of Photography and Multimedia Chris Pietsch, the new shared work space is in what’s called The District and its across the street from the Fifth Street Public Market.

The news staff has been working remotely since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Everyone moved out of the newspaper’s former 3500 Chad Drive location in November 2021.

The paper moved from 975 High St. in downtown, to northeast Eugene, in January 1998.
