Now the newspaper has no press

Eugene’s hometown paper is no longer printed there

During the week of May 23, 2021, a salvage crew retained by Gannett finished up the removal of the The Register-Guard’s Mitsubishi Lithia press along with the newspaper’s associated production facility in Eugene. The press printed a newspaper for the final time on the first Sunday in March and is now printed 116 miles away in Vancouver, Wash.
