Reunion update: 100 days and counting
Spring has sprung and it’s 100 days and counting until our historical, first-ever, one-of-a-kind gathering of former “Golden Era” Register-Guard news employees. If you’re planning to attend the reunion and haven’t yet registered, access this link and let us know you’re coming. If you’re not sure, let us know that, too; there’s a “Still haven’t decided” selection you can make. If you know you can’t make it — and so far we’ve heard that from only one person — a simple “No” will be appreciated.
Details on on how to pay
Payment of our $50 per person catering fee isn’t required immediately but we will need your deposit(s) no later than June 1, when we have to give our caterer a headcount for the food service we’re planning during the reunion. Remember, those attending are encouraged to bring a spouse, partner or friend (for an additional $50). For those who haven’t already paid, go here to see the options for sending money.
Look who’s coming
Curious about whom you might be rubbing elbows with on June 29th? Follow this link to see who has already committed to attending our reunion. It’s star-studded, as you can see.
UO Special Collections has acquired Brian Lanker’s archives
A University of Oregon fundraising campaign is underway to create a perpetual annual stipend for researchers, creators and thinkers that will support their travel to Eugene to study Brian’s archives in person. Learn more about it here.
